MEET THE FOUNDER
Vernon "Wes" Hollis
In 1982, Vernon Wesley Hollis faced a life-changing setback when the factory job he had dedicated years to was suddenly eliminated. In a matter of days, the security he had worked so hard to build was gone. While the experience brought uncertainty and frustration, it also sparked a determination that would shape the rest of his life.
What began as a small venture grew into a thriving business built on hard work, creativity, and exceptional customer service. Today, Vernon is the founder of UrbanWIRX, where he collaborates with skilled craftsmen to design and build handcrafted kitchen islands, farmhouse furniture, and one-of-a-kind custom pieces for homes across the country.
For Vernon, furniture is more than wood and hardware, it is about creating lasting heirlooms that bring families together.
